Deon Helberg is a South African rugby union player, currently playing with Golden Lions in the Currie Cup and Vodacom Cup.[1] His usual position is wing.

He also played for UP-Tuks in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Varsity Cup competitions.

In 2011 it was revealed that he was involved in an affair with his girlfriend's mother, which led to a fake death photo of Helberg being supplied. This is now subject to court proceedings.[2]
