Denise M. Trauth is the ninth president of Texas State University.[1] On June 11, 2002, Texas State Board of Regents voted unanimously in favor of Trauth beginning her term as President.[1]
Accomplishments
Following the footsteps of her predecessor, President Trauth has made a significant impact guiding the University through a number of changes. Some of the President's more notable accomplishments are:[2]
- The creation of the Texas State University Round Rock Campus.
- "The Drive" a school program in which she pushed Texas State Athletic program to have the school's football team enter the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision.[3]
