Darnius Earl "Dmoe" Moore (born December 9, 1988)[1] is an American football wide receiver for the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tennessee. Moore was selected in the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft with the (148th pick overall) by the Oakland Raiders.

Oakland Raiders

Moore was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 5th round with the (148th pick overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. After a strong Training camp and Preseason, Moore made the Oakland Raiders 53-man Roster.

In just his second career game, Moore exploded against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2 of the 2011 NFL Season, making spectacular catches over the course of the game recording 146 yards on 5 catches and scoring a 50-yard touchdown on a pass from Quarterback Jason Campbell while also adding one rush for 25 yards.

In Week 10, Moore had another stellar performance. In the first Thursday Night Game of the 2011 NFL Season, Moore had 5 catches for 123 yards and 2 touchdowns. Moore caught touchdown passes of 33 and 24 yards.

As of Week 11 of 2012, Moore is the top receiver for the Raiders with 35 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns. However, during a three-game losing streak leading up to Week 11, Moore caught only 9 of 25 passes from quarterback Carson Palmer. Those nine catches accounted for 165 yards and one touchdown. In a Week 10 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Moore caught only one nine-yard pass out of seven attempted passes.[2]

Track and field

Moore was also a standout track athlete at Tatum High School. He was the state champion in the 110 metres hurdles, capturing numerous state titles running for the Tatum High School track team. He also competed in the 300 metres hurdles and in long jump.

His personal bests are 13.69 seconds in the 110 metres hurdles, 36.99 seconds in the 300 metres hurdles and 7.21 meters in the long jump.
