Delivery office

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Royal Mail operates a network of 1,356 delivery offices. Each delivery office serves a geographically defined area of the United Kingdom.[1]

Operations

By the time mail is received in delivery offices, it has already been collected from pillarboxes, Post Office branches and businesses, and brought to the local mail centre. From there it is forwarded to the relevant mail centre associated with the ultimate delivery office.[1]
