Delirium Tremens is the only studio album by the American experimental music ensemble Sulfur, released on June 16, 1998 through Goldenfly Records. With French composer and vocalist Michele Amar acting as bandleader, the album includes performances by members of Firewater, Motherhead Bug, Soul Coughing and Swans.[2]

Release and Reception

Music writer Piero Scaruffi praised the Delirium Tremens, noting that "Amar is not only here to entertain, she is also here to tell stories and they are always horror stories".[1] In comparison to Ouimet's Motherhead Bug project, Scaruffi claimed the music "was tragic rather than comic, and the atmosphere evoked Beckett's absurd theater."[3] He gave it a seven and a half out of a possible ten rating and placed it at #27 on his "Best Rock Albums of 1998" list.[4]
