The Deanery Church of England High School and Sixth Form College is a Secondary School and Sixth Form Centre in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England. It currently has around 1,600 pupils and it consistently[citation needed] gets good GCSE grades, amongst the best in the Wigan Borough. The most recent OFSTED report described the school as "a good school".[1]

The Deanery High School is a Church of England Voluntary Aided school, receiving 15% of its funding via the church and through fundraising[citation needed].

The school's campus is located in the town centre, very close to Wigan bus station and the main Post Office sorting office. It can be reached easily by bus and train. The majority of the school is within 1970 buildings, but the C-block quadrangles were part of the original All Saints School. Later additions such as the D-Block and Sports Hall were built more recently.

In September 2008, the Deanery received a new Headteacher, Stephen Brierley, previously Headteacher in an all-girls High School in Liverpool, Archbishop Blanch.

The Deanery High School also has a 6th Form College; for students studying a range of A levels. However some of the former High School students opt to go to other colleges in the area, such as Winstanley College and St John Rigby College.

The Deanery Church of England High School was founded in 1971 following the amalgamation of three local schools: All Saints, Wigan; St Mark's, Newtown and St Matthew's, Highfield.
