Dean Mernagh

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dean Mernagh is a famous horse racing jockey. He is the cousin of Grand National winner Graham Lee. Mernagh's biggest achievement was winning the UAE version of The Derby in Dubai.

Mernagh was suspended from riding for nine months after he was found to be in breach of Rule 243 for communicating inside information, for reward, for a number of races between 2003 and 2004.[1][2]

He never fully served his ban for race fixing in the UK despite being granted his jockey license in the United States.[3]
