Deadboy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Deadboy is a Toronto graffiti artist, best known for his stencil graffiti critiquing Toronto mayor Rob Ford and brother Doug Ford, Jr., a city councilor. His real identity is unknown.[1][2]
He was inspired to begin stenciling in 2010, when he saw Exit Through the Gift Shop, and was kettled during the 2010 G-20 Toronto summit protests. He has attended Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts and the Toronto Film School. He participated in a street art festival on September 24, 2011, at Toronto's Metro Hall.[3] In February 2013, some of his work was featured at the Art Gallery of Ontario in one of their sold-out 1st Thursdays Exhibitions.[4]
