David Lawrence Englin (born August 15, 1974) is an American politician. A Democrat, he was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in November 2005. From 2006 to 2012 he represented the 45th district, made up of parts of Arlington and Fairfax Counties and the city of Alexandria.[1] (Englin was born David Lawrence English, but when he and Shayna Beth Wolin married in 1996, the two combined their last names to Englin.)

Englin is an Eagle Scout.[2] He announced he would not seek reelection to the House of Delegates in 2013 because he had been unfaithful to his wife.[3]

Englin resigned his seat in the Virginia House effective August 31, 2012.[4]
