From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
David Dwyer (born 14 August 1961 in Dublin) was an Irish soccer player who played in the League of Ireland during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Dwyer played for Kilkenny City and Bohemians amongst others during his career in the League of Ireland. When his manager At Kilkenny Eamonn Gregg left for Bohs in the summer of 1990, he brought Dwyer with him and he made his competitive debut for Bohs in the League of Ireland Cup tie against Bray Wanderers on August 19, 1990[1] but as a centre half his appearances at Bohs were limited by the form of Robbie Best and Paul Whelan.
