David Costas Cordal (born 26 March 1995 in Vigo) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Celta de Vigo as a central defender.

Club career

Born in Vigo, Costas played youth football with hometown's Celta de Vigo.[1] He made his senior debuts with the B-team in Segunda División B.

On 25 August 2013, only two months after finishing his junior career,[2] 18-year-old Costas made his first-team – and La Liga – debut for the Galicians, coming on as a substitute for Augusto Fernández in the 77th minute of a 2–1 away win against Real Betis.[3]
