David Callaham

David Callaham (sometimes credited as Dave Callaham) is an American film writer.

Personal life

Callaham was born in Fresno, California on October 24, 1977. He is married to Bree Tichy. They were married in 2009.^[1]

Career

In 2003, Callaham wrote the film adaption to the video game Doom and submitted it in the summer of 2005. Around that time, he wrote The Expendables for Warner Bros. which was later handed to Sylvester Stallone, who re-wrote the shooting script (though Callaham is credited for story and co-writing the screenplay.^[2])

In October 2010, Callaham submitted the first draft for Legendary Pictures' Godzilla reboot. However, it was rumored that it was subsequently rejected. Upon official confirmation of the film's production, Callaham's name was added to the list of writers.

Callaham is currently working with director McG on an untitled science-fiction adventure film.^[3]
