David W. Baria is a Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 122nd district. He was formerly the member of the Mississippi Senate, representing the 46th District from 2008-2012, until deciding to run for the House in 2011 to succeed fellow Democrat J. P. Compretta.
He has three children: Merrit, Bess, and Max.
