Dave Pilopovich

Dave Pilopovich is an American college basketball coach and the current men's basketball head coach of the Air Force Falcons. He is the eighth head coach in the history of the Air Force men's basketball program. Before becoming the Head Coach of the Falcons, he served as assistant coach at Eastern Michigan University for five years (2000-05), four years as an assistant coach at Robert Morris University (1996-2000), two years an assistant coach at Georgia State University (1994-96) and two years as the assistant head coach at Florida Atlantic University (1989-91).

Coaching career

Assistant coach

Before becoming the Head coach of the Falcons on February 8, 2012. Pilopovich was an assistant coach of the Falcons under Jeff Reynolds. Pilipovich helped the Falcons snap a 16-game losing streak in conference tournament in 2009 and earned a trip to the postseason since 2007. He coacheded Tim Anderson, the eventual Defensive player of the year.

Head coach

Pilopovich is currently in his first season coaching the Falcons. He won two out of his first three games helped the team beat San Diego State at Clune Arena, a top ranked team.[1]
