Dashtadem (Armenian: Դաշտադեմ; formerly, Nerkin Talin; Russified as Nizhniy Talin; both meaning "lower Talin") is a town in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. The town contains a large fortress dating to the 10th century but substantially rebuilt in the 19th century along with a chapel dedicated to Saint Sargis also dating to the 10th century. The fortress keep contains a dedicatory Arabic inscription in Kufic letters attributing the structure to Sultan ibn Mahmud (Shahanshah), one of the Shaddadids, and dated to 1174. The town also contains also ruins of a medieval caravanserai, and stone age obsidian workshops. Nearby, lies the restored 7th century Kristapori Vank.
