Daryl Daye is the current head football coach at Missouri Southern State University. He was also the former head coach at Nicholls State University from 1999-2003 and had an overall 17-38 record. He was named Southland Conference Coach of the Year in 2002.
Daye is an alumnus of the Louisiana State University (LSU). He has also been an assistant at LSU (graduate assistant), Southern Mississippi (graduate assistant), Liberty (defensive line coach and defensive coordinator), Southern (special teams coach) and Missouri Southern (defensive coordinator). He also spent two years as an assistant to Buffalo Bills head coach Chan Gailey.[1][2]
