Darya Dontsova

Darya Dontsova (born 1952, Moscow) (Russian: Дарья Донцова) - is a Russian writer of detective novels.[1] She produced several dozen (approximately 150) such commercially successful books and also kitchen books and three autobiographies.

Dontsova is a very popular writer especially among Russian women, being voted in the top 100 of Russia's elite in polls commissioned by Kommersant in 2003 and 2007.[2][3] She has won numerous literary prizes and nominations.
