Darwin Adelso Cerén Delgado is a Salvadoran footballer who plays for Orlando City Soccer Club and the El Salvador national team, as captain.[1]

Club career

Juventud Independiente

Darwin began his professional career with Juventud Independiente in 2009 along with his brother Oscar. He helped lift them from the second division to the first division. In the summer of 2013, he was on the verge of signing with Turkish club Balıkesirspor, but at the end the two parties did not come to terms. In total, he made 83 appearance for the club and scored 15 goals before departing in February of 2014.[1]

Orlando City SC

It was announced on 6 February 2014 that Ceren had signed for Orlando City Soccer Club of the USL Pro for the 2014 USL Pro season and for 2015 as OCSC enter Major League Soccer, becoming the club's third addition to their MLS roster.[1]

International career

Darwin Ceren made his debut for El Salvador in a friendly against New Zealand on 24 May 2012. The game ended in a 2-2 draw.[1] He scored his first goal against Venezuela in a 2-1 loss.[2]
