Dario Pinelli

Dario Pinelli is an Italian jazz manouche guitarist, born in Manduria, Italy, March 27, 1982. Young concert soloist, playing with the polyrhythmic-polyphonic "striking", that simultaneously creates harmony, bass, and melody. In 2002, he changed genre to gypsy jazz or "jazz manouche." In December 2004, Dario formed his new band, the "Dario Pinelli Gypsy Jazz Trio" with Dario Pinelli (solo guitar), Claudio Rollo (rhythmic guitar), and Achille Matricardi (double bass). The success obtained by the group earned them a collaboration with Serge Gallato, the French liutaio (acoustic instrument constructer), of which Dario is "ambassadeur en italie", alongside Angelo Debarre.
