Daria Ramirez is a veteran actress from the Philippines.

Personal life

She is the mother of former matinee idol, singer, actor Keempee de Leon and former teen actress Cheenee de Leon to TV host, singer, comedian, actor Joey de Leon.

Career

She did movies in 1974 South Seas with Vic Vargas, in 1976 Stowaway with Rey Malonzo, and Sgt. Dalagon (1977) with Tony Ferrer.

She appeared in films Hiram Na Mukha (1992) starring Nanette Medved and Abot Kamay Ang Pangarap (1996) starring Maricel Soriano and Dina Bonnevie, among others.

She was Gawad Urian Best Actress winner for Sinong Kapiling? Sinong Kasiping? in 1977 and she won Best Supporting Actress for her appearance in Aguila (1980) starring Fernando Poe, Jr., Christopher de Leon, and Elizabeth Oropesa.

She performed more than 115 movies and television shows.
