Dardanus megistos, the white-spotted hermit crab or spotted hermit crab, is a species of hermit crab, living in reefs in the Indo-Pacific region from Africa to the South China Sea and Hawaii.[1][2] Dardanus megistos can attain a maximum size of 8 inches (20 cm).
