Danielle Elizabeth Doty,[1] born April 27, 1993, Harlingen, Texas is Miss Teen USA 2011.
Doty won the Miss Texas Teen USA title on November 28, 2010, the first state titleholder from the Rio Grande Valley.[2][3] She represented Texas in the national pageant held at Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas on July 16, 2011, where she was crowned Miss Teen USA 2011 by previous titleholder Kamie Crawford.[4] Doty's win was Texas' second, following that of Christie Lee Woods in 1996.[5][6]
Doty graduated in the top ten of her class at Harlingen High School South in 2011 and was a member of the National Honor Society.[2] She currently attends Texas Christian University and is a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority.[3]
