Daniel Waithaka

Daniel Waithaka Mwangi is the governor of Nyandarua County in central Kenya, He was elected during the governor election of 4 March 2013.
Personal life
Waithaka is director and proprietor of Elite School in Nyahururu. He hold a degree in Bachelor of Commerce and a certificate in CPA and CPS.[1]
Political career
In 2007 Waithaka contested Ol Kalou parliamentary seat on a Mazingira Greens Party Ticket where he was defeated by Erastus Mureithi. He joined politics in 2012 to contest the governorship of Nyandarua under Jubilee coalition party TNA.
Governor Election 2013
He emerged victorious during the election after defeating former Kinangop MP Mr David Ngugi and Mr Peter Gathimba.[2]
