Daniel Sahuleka (born 6 December 1950 in Semarang, Indonesia)[1] is a Dutch musician and singer of South Moluccan and Sundanese-Chinese descent.

Sahuleka created a portfolio of 110 compositions, and many of his songs are well known such as "You Make My World So Colourful" (1981) from the album Daniel Sahuleka (1977),[1] and "Don't Sleep Away The Night" (1980).[1] In the early 1980s, he had hits with "Wake Up" " We'll Go Out Tonight"in 1982.

In Indonesia, Los Angeles and Europe, Sahuleka has received several prestigious awards.[citation needed]

Personal life

He was born to an Ambonese father, Simon Pieter Sahuleka (born 3/2/1919 in Semarang), and a Sundanese mother, Joassi Charlotte Wilhelmientje Mohanab (born 3/2/1923 in Pontianak).
