Daniel Knost is a American stock car racing crew chief. He currently acts as crew chief for the Stewart-Haas Racing No. 41 Chevrolet in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with driver Kurt Busch.[1] Having joined the team in 2008,[2] he had previously acted as race engineer for Ryan Newman's No. 39 car.[3][4] He was also race engineer for Danica Patrick during eight races in the 2012 season.[1]
Knost is married, to Nicole.[2]
