Daniel Dumitrescu (born September 23, 1968)[1] is a Romanian boxer, who won the silver medal in the men's featherweight (57 kg) category at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul. A year later he captured the silver medal in the lightweight division ( 60 kg) at the 1989 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Athens, Greece.

Professional career

Dumitrescu turned pro in 1993 and had little success, retiring in 1997 with a record of 5-2-0.
