Daniel Alessi (born on Aug 26, 1997) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a right back for Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League.[1]

Club career

Alessi joined the Wanderers on the 13th October 2013 on a Youth League contract for the 2013/14 season.[2] Alessi played his debut game in the senior team in the second Sydney derby of the season on the 11th January 2014. He impressed the coach Tony Popovic[3] and was selected for the round's team of the week.[4]

International career

In December 2013 he was called up to the Australia u-20's training squad.[5]

Personal life

Daniel attended Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, Pymble. Daniel also attended St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill from 2010 to 2013[6] and now attends Turramurra High School.
