Dan Skuta (born April 21, 1986) is an American football linebacker and fullback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League.[1][2] He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2009. He played college football at Grand Valley State University.
Skuta scored his first touchdown with the 49ers in 2013. Skuta returned a 47-yard touchdown after recovering a fumble forced by his San Francisco 49ers teammate Patrick Willis at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Coach Jim Harbaugh has stated about Skuta as a new starter: "He's just a good, Flint, Michigan, guy. He's like Joe Staley, like me; we're Michigan guys. Just something blue-collar, something gritty, determination about those guys."
