Damon Minchella (born 1 June 1969 in Ince-in-Makerfield, Lancashire[1]) is an English bass guitarist, formerly with Ocean Colour Scene, which he left in 2003. He was a regular member of Paul Weller's backing band until 2008,[2] is a member of the supergroup The Players and played for The Who during their performance at the Live 8 concert in Hyde Park.

Minchella currently plays with Trio Valore with former Weller drummer Steve White[3] and announced in October 2012 he was to enter the studio with Richard Ashcroft for his fifth solo album.[4] Now based in Worcester, he also works as a bass tutor.[5]
