Damian Welch (born 28 July 1982 in Reading) is an English Rugby Union footballer who plays at lock for Aviva Premiership side Exeter Chiefs.
Club career
Welch played for Westwood Wanderers until the age of 16.
After beginning his rugby career at Cardiff University he then went to represent Pontypridd, Cardiff and Cardiff Blues and the Scarlets, Before joining Exeter at the conclusion of the 11/12 Season.[1] Welch made his debut for Exeter in the Heineken Cup against French side Clermont Auvergne on 20 December 2012[2]
