Damián Szifrón

Damián Szifron (born July 9, 1975, Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine film and television director, and screenwriter, best known as the creator of the TV series Los Simuladores (2002).[1]
Szifron was also the writer and director of the follow-up series in 2003, and of Hermanos y Detectives. He studied cinema with the theoric film writer Angel Faretta. Szifron is a frequent collaborator with actor Diego Peretti, who has appeared in all of Szifrón's films since Punto Muerto (1998), as well as starred in Los Simuladores (The Pretenders).
