Daisy Shah (born 1989/1990 (age 23–24)[1]is an Indian model, dancer[3] and film actress.[2][4] She made her Bollywood Debut with Jai Ho opposite Salman Khan.[4]

Personal life

Daisy Shah is an arts graduate from Mumbai's Khalsa College. She won the Miss Photogenic title in the Miss Dombivli contest in a local mall when she was in 10th grade.[2]

Career

She has worked as an assistant to choreographer Ganesh Acharya for 3 years.[5] She started off doing item numbers in films like Vandae Maatharam before she got a break in the Kannada Film Industry, where she played the female lead opposite South actor Jaggesh in the Kannada version of the Malayalam hit film Bodyguard. Later she appeared in Kannada films like Bhadra and Gajendra while also appearing as an Item girl in Bachchan and Bloody Isshq, before getting a big break to play Salman Khan's ladylove in Sohail Khan's Jai Ho, a remake of the Telugu film Stalin.
