Daifam

Daifam is a settlement in the far east of Bhutan.Daifam in local language means place where the dairy products are produced.It is said that during 1950's and 1960's this place used to produce huge milk,curd,cheese and butter,hence the name Dairy-farm,and gradually became Daifam. It is located in Samdrup Jongkhar District, close to the border with India, connected with the Indian town Bhairabkunda by the road.The Bhairabkunda Temple is located in the Bhutan part and now enclosed with 15 feet tall wall due to security and safety reason.
