DZIQ (990 kHz Metro Manila), formally named as DZIQ Inquirer Radio 990AM, is an flagship AM radio station owned by Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corp., Inc. and Philippine Daily Inquirer as the whole blocktime operator, in the Philippines. Its studios are located at the 2nd floor, Media Resources Building, Mola cor. Pasong Tirad sts., Brgy. La Paz, Makati City, and the transmitter is located at Obando, Bulacan.

History

After the test broadcast on the election day, May 10, 2010, PDI acquired the station's blocktime programming and changed its callsign to DZIQ from DWRT.[1] This station's format is the same as the Philippine Daily Inquirer newspaper and online. On August 16, 2010, Radyo Inquirer was on the air on terrestrial radio and its official launch was on September 9, 2010.[2]

In July 2013, Radyo Inquirer rebranded as Inquirer Radio 990AM as the broadcast language changed from Filipino to English (except for spiels of the current affairs programs, blocktime programs and religious program Back to Christ) as similar the current Inquirer's format.
