D2sh
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The D2sh receptor is an autoreceptor for the dopamine receptor D2. The "sh" stands for "short". D2sh receptors regulate the release of dopamine. Agonism of D2sh receptors inhibits dopamine release; antagonism increases dopaminergic release. D2sh receptors are found primarily in the CNS.
