Dženana Šehanović (born 23 March 1991) is a Bosnian piano professor, pianist. She holds master's degree in piano performance.[1]

Education

She studied music in Germany, Austria, Croatia and her home-country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the age of fourteen she has become the youngest ever student to be admitted to Academy of Music, University of Zagreb, Croatia.[2] The first year of education ended at George Stanetti and Karl-Heinz Kammerling, and recently graduated in the class of Srdjan Čaldarović.

She has appeared in numerous group and solo concerts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Norway, Hungary, Liechtenstein, with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Zagreb Soloists.[3] On the basis of her fifteen international awards, Šehanović received the Rector's Award of universities in Zagreb 2010. At the recommendation of former Croatian President Stjepan Mesić she acquired Croatian citizenship.
