Dāvis Bertāns (born 12 November 1992) is a Latvian professional basketball player for the Partizan Belgrade of the Serbian League.

Professional career

In November 2010, Bertāns signed a multi-year contract with the Slovenian team KK Union Olimpija.[1] Following April, Bertāns competed in the 2011 Nike Hoop Summit.

Bertāns was selected in the second round (42nd overall) of the 2011 NBA Draft by the Indiana Pacers. However, his rights were immediately traded to the San Antonio Spurs.[2]

On 4 January 2012 Bertāns signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with the Serbian club KK Partizan.[3][4]

Latvian national team

Bertāns represented Latvia at the EuroBasket 2011. He averaged 5.6 points and 2 rebounds per game for Latvia.[5]
