Człuchy [ˈt͡ʂwuxɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Smołdzino, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) west of Smołdzino, 25 km (16 mi) north-east of Słupsk, and 99 km (62 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1648 the area was part of Duchy of Pomerania, 1648-1945 Prussia and Germany. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
