Cynthia Uwak (born 15 July 1986 in Akwa Ibom State) is a Nigerian football (soccer) striker who currently is playing for PK-35 Vantaa in the Women's League in Finland. Uwak previously played for 1. FC Saarbrücken in the Women's Bundesliga,[1] FC United of Jakobstad and Olympique Lyonnais. She is also a member of the Nigeria national football team.
Uwak was honored as the 2006 and 2007 African Women Footballer of the Year.
Uwak competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[2]
