Curtis " Showtime" Stevens (born March 10, 1985) is an Panamanian, American boxer from the Brownsville neighborhood in Brooklyn.

Amateur

Stevens was an amateur standout, and was the National Amateur Light Heavyweight Champion in 2002. Stevens attended Samuel J. Tilden High School in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn, where he starred as a middle linebacker on the football team.

Pro

"Showtime" Stevens turned pro in 2004 and has been featured several times on ESPN Friday Night Fights. In 2007 he lost to Andre Dirrell, and in 2010 was shockingly upset by Jesse Brinkley in a title eliminator, a major career setback. On November 2, 2013 at Madison Square Garden he lost to Gennady Golovkin - WBA & IBO Middleweight champion.[1]
