Cupriavidus pinatubonensis is a gram-negative, aerobic non-spore-forming, motile bacterium from the genus of Cupriavidus and the family of Burkholderiaceae which was isolated with Cupriavidus laharis together from volcanic mudflow deposits on Mt. Pinatubo on the Philippines.[4]
