Crows Explode (クローズ EXPLODE Kurozu Explode) is an upcoming 2014 Japanese action film directed by Toshiaki Toyoda. It is the third film based on the manga Crows by Hiroshi Takahashi, and a sequel to 2009's Crows Zero 2. It will feature new characters and an almost entirely new cast, including Masahiro Higashide and Taichi Saotome.[1] The film is set to premiere in Japan in April, 2014.[2]
Plot
A month after Genji Takiya's graduation, the battle for supremacy at Suzuran All-Boys High School begins anew. Transfer student Kaburagi Kazeo (Masahiro Higashide) combats Kagami Ryohei (Taichi Saotome) for the coveted top spot, amidst a brewing inter-school conflict with Kurosaki Industrial High.[3]

Production
The first trailer was released online by World Cinema News on April 17, 2013.[4] The cast was officially revealed at a press conference on April 3, 2013.[5] Of the cast from the first two films, only Kyosuke Yabe and Motoki Fukami are confirmed to be returning, reprising their roles as Katagiri Ken and Rindaman respectively.[6]
