The Crimson Seedcracker (Pyrenestes sanguineus) is a common species of estrildid finch found in Africa. It has an estimated global extent of occurrence of 430,000 km².
It is found at Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Senegal & Sierra Leone. The status of the species is evaluated as Least Concern.
