"Crazy" Mohan (Tamil: க்ரேசி மோகன், born 16 October 1949 as Mohan Rangachari) is a popular Tamil comedy actor, script writer and playwright.[1]

He was a student at the College of Engineering, Guindy, where he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1973.[citation needed] He wrote his first drama at College of Engineering, Guindy, when he was in the 4th year in 1972. His guide was his classmate S. Ravi, who was the President of Tamil Manram. He founded the popular drama troupe 'Crazy Creations' in 1973 and was its leader and president. Under Mohan, the Crazy Creations performed over 5000 plays across Tamil Nadu, most of the themes involving satire and witty dialogue.

In addition to dramas and teleserials, he has also written number of comedy films, like Michael Madana Kama Rajan, Apoorva Sagodharargal, Avvai Shanmughi and Panchathanthiram. He has played a small role in each of these films, and he has acted or written dialogue for over 70 films including Arunachalam (starring Rajnikanth).

His brother Maadhu Balaji plays the hero in all his dramas.

His first play was Crazy Thieves in Paalavakkam, through this play the title Crazy fitted and he is called as Crazy Mohan.[2]
