Craugastor is a genus of frog in the Craugastoridae family.[1][2] Its scientific names means ‘brittle-belly’, from the Ancient Greek krauros (κραῦρος, ‘brittle, dry’) and gastēr (γαστήρ, ‘belly, stomach’).[3]
