Craig Sherman (born July 27, 1967 in Stamford, Connecticut) was the Chief Executive Officer of GaiaOnline.com, an online community for teens and young adults, from May 2006 to August 2010, when Mike Sego, creator of famous Facebook app (fluff)Friends took over the role.[1][2][3][4]
Before Gaia Online, Sherman served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Benchmark Capital, COO of MyFamily.com/ancestry.com (now called The Generations Network), CEO of Cendant Japan and held senior positions at American International Group.[5][6]
Currently, Sherman is on the boards of kongregate, Netquote, Singlefeed, and Social Shield. Other previous board positions included Photobucket (acquired by Fox), Homestead (acquired by Intuit), and Logoworks (acquired by HP).[5][7]
