Covisint is an American information technology company established in 2000 by a consortium of organizations, including General Motors, Ford, and DaimlerChrysler. In February 2004, Compuware Corporation acquired Covisint.[1]
Initially focused in the automotive industry, they have expanded into the healthcare, oil and gas, government, and financial services.[citation needed] Covisint is located in the Compuware World Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan.
