Cova Rodela (in Cape Verdean Creole Kuva Rodela, written in ALUPEC), is a village in the middle of the island of Brava, Cape Verde.

The village is sourrounded by mountains and linked by a good road to Vila Nova Sintra, the biggest town of the island, which is about 2 km away to the East. There are good walking paths to the island's tallest mountain Fontainhas. From some places near Cova Rodela there is a beautiful scenic view to Vila Nova Sintra and even to the neighbouring island of Fogo. Most of the inhabitants of the village live on agriculture, growing maize and bananas.

Cova Rodela has a school, a bank and a few small shops. In Main Street there is a noteworthy old dragon tree belonging to the rare species dracaena draco.

Many windows in Cova Rodela look similar to those which were common in New England in the 19th century.[1]

Cova Rodela can be reached easily by alguer busses from Vila Nova Sintra and from other villages on Brava.
