Courtney Watson (born September 18, 1980 in Sarasota, Florida is an American football linebacker. Watson played college football at the University of Notre Dame before he was drafted in the second round of the 2004 NFL draft (60th overall pick) by the New Orleans Saints.

During the 2006 offseason, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins for LB Eddie Moore.

However, this trade was rejected when Eddie Moore failed a physical for the Saints. On June 6, 2006; Courtney Watson was traded to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for TE Tim Euhus. On August 22, 2006, Watson was released by the Bills. The Houston Texans picked up Watson two days later. Watson then returned to Sarasota FL. On July 29, 2009 Watson was employed by Sarasota County Fire Department.
