Costume Designers Guild Awards
Founded in 1999, the Costume Designers Awards honors Costume Designers in Motion Pictures, Television, and Commercials annually. The "Gilda" statuette was originally manufactured in sterling silver by renowned Italian jeweler Bvlgari and was created by costume designer, and CDG member, David Le Vey. Title sponsors of this glamorous Los Angeles evening are Lacoste and Disaronno. Each year costume designers are honored in a number of categories for their work in motion pictures and television. In addition, a distinguished costume designer is selected to receive a Career Achievement Award. Actors, directors or producers are also honored with a Spotlight Award and Distinguished Collaborator Award.
